just getting started

Hi there, this is the first time I am doing BFL and taking part in a forum about it.I gave birth 4 months ago, I'm still carrying most of my baby fat and have also maneged to put on a few more kilos, clever huh? I'm 87 kilos and really would like to get down between 60-63 kg.
Anyway, I started out last week eating really well-trying as much as I could to eat 6 meals and exercised more than what was written in the book. I only lost 1kg? So I have decided to follow the exercise program to a T as of Monday. Any tips? Is doing too much exercise really that bad? Also, I'm sure I'm eating right- but maybe I should have a protein shake for dinner....again, any suggestions?

Hi and welcome! There are some BFL threads here. Have you found them?
