Today is 4th day on Atkins!
 

Hello everyone, I was reading a magazine and learned about this site. I am 26 years old and have always been overweight. I have not weighted myself lately due to the shame but the last time I went to the doctors I weighted in at 293. I need to loose the weight before other health issues arise.

I have a very long story but the truth is I do not want to be obese any more. I have had success with the Atkins diet before and I said why not try it again. I have not told a lot of people about my lifestyle change, I don’t have any children and I am not married. A friend and I changed to the Atkins approach but she has since moved and I have lost contact with here and kind of feel alone. I thought this site would be a great support system. I have been reading others posting and I feel every positive about my personal challenge. In fact I have never written it down or even told any one about it, but I would like to be at 180 before I am 28.
