new, learning the site

Hi , I'm new to the site and looking for weight loss buddies. I was diagnosed 2 1/2 years ago with diabetes. Since then I've lost 105 lbs (now 185). I've reached a plateau and lost and gained the same 7 lbs over the past month. Can anyone give me an idea of how to start losing (healthfully) again. I would love any ideas. I'm 46 years old and married with 2 teens, and 1 adult child. I'm a critical cre rn who works nights. I'm willing to listen to any ideas Thanks BCooper

Hi and welcome. Maybe if you tell us what you did to lose the first 105 (WOW) we can help you tweak to get going again. And we'll point out some threads that might be nice for you.

I lost the 1st 105 lbs by cal count, ppro, carb, and fat counts I also increased
my fiber intake (25g-40g) a day. I started a 1500 cal/day, but was told to increase intake when I was losing 5 lbs a week. I've been eating 1700-1850 a day. I'm wondering if I should drop back to 1500. I would like to set a goal of 150-155lbs , I'm 5ft 9in so I think that would be reasonable. Anyfeedback?
I try to eat every 2-3 hours and I really can't do low carb due to my glucose. I do, however eat lots of whole grain, high fiber carbs. So any ideas would help Thanks
