Hi all,

My name is Robin and I live in southwest Colorado. I didn't find this site by reading about it in First magazine. I believe I became aware of the site by seeing someone's ticker at another community.

Anyhow, I'm 49 (will be 50 in 22 days) and am married. I work part-time for the local volunteer fire department.

I committed to losing weight (for the last time, I pray) in September this year when I found myself in a weight zone I never though I'd see (I began dieting at 306 pounds). I'm doing a very low calorie, doctor's supervised, meal replacement program. I'm beyond thrilled with my success so far. I've lost 34 pounds in 7 weeks on the program.

At this point in time I'm doing fine with the eating part of my program; I just need to commit as well to the physical activity portion.

I have a pretty good support system with my program coach; just looking for some kindred spirits here.

Hi and welcome!
I've read about a few people here at 3FC who've started out on doctor supervised VLCD's and made the transition and just kept going ... on to success.
I'm glad you're here and am sure you'll find lots of support and encouragement.
