Ok I am finally doing it!

I am new to this site, I have been doing weight watchers for eight weeks now with a friend. I have lost twenty pounds so far. I have also started running, and I am up to three miles now. I was in the military, and got out when I was eight months pregnant. I gained 140 pound while I was pregnant! I lost ninety after the first year, and I gained around forty of it back. My son is now four and my husband has been gone (korea) for fifteen months now. Two months ago, was it for me, something happened which made me say, I want to be healthy for my son. I started WW and I have been averaging around two pounds a week. I am so thrilled, I measured myself for the first time two weeks ago, and again yesterday and the tape measure says I have lost three inches off my waist and one inch off my hips! The only problem is I dread going for my runs. During the run I feel great but getting there is another story. I am wondering if I will ever enjoy running like I used to when I was in the army? I mean I used to love it! Anyways that is me!:)

Hi Christ7981,
Congratulation on your decision to get healthy You are doing great:hug: . Keep up the good work and take it one step at a time. We are cheering you on. Keep running if that is what you want to do or you can try another form of execise and switch it up a little. The key is to stay motivated. Keep your eyes on your goal and don't give up.

Welcome in! If you're not finding as much enjoyment in running as you used to, you may want to try a different form of exercise. Try a couple new things and see what makes you want to get out there and do it! Keep us posted!
