Way to go! I joined WW last week and haven't lost anything yet, but I know I will. I think I'm still trying to get the hang of the core plan and once I do, I'll be blowing through the pounds. Congratulations again!

What I have done that has helped with the weight loss is...

1. Drank my water (and then some)
2. Planned my day out the night before (and left a point or 2 for a treat)
3. Journaled honestly

Good Luck with your weight loss.

Thank you for reminding me to drink my water. I have water on my desk equal to what I am to drink for the day and I need to start swallowing it.

I just re-read what you posted before. My leader suggested that you start on Flex and only move to Core when you've been on the program for a bit as Core involves eating until you're full. You won't see the results as well if you start with core. Atleast that's what I was told...

I'll have to try it, especially if it would help me lose some weight right now in the beginning. That would be the best motivator. Thanks!

With Flex it really helps you with portion controls. Our leader uses Flex when she's home and Core when she travels. Core is easier to do when you don't have all the nutritional values at your fingertips.

Good advice. Thanks. I think I have to stick with Core through the rest of this week (my understanding is you stick with one or the other for the entire week), and then I'll switch to Flex to get a good solid start on the program.

I'm actually getting excited about the prospect of losing weight - this feeling is very new to me.
