Wisconsin Weight Watcher

Hi there! My name is Gypsy. I'm a single 28 year old from Wisconsin. I thought I'd say hello before I jump in and start participating. As the title probably suggested, I'm a Weight Watchers follower. I do it entirely at home... no meetings... so I was seeking some support and friendship.

I currently weigh 162 pounds. At 5'2", its a rather unattractive and unhealthy weight. I'm aiming for 115 pounds. I'd like to see myself at that weight by my next birthday in July. I do keep track of weight, but inches are more important to me.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and getting healthy and fit along with you all!

New to this site, weight watcher follower...once upon a time

Hi! I'm just starting back to watching what I eat. I guess tomorrow should be my 1st day. I'd love to share some mutual support. I did Weight watchers this summer but dropped out after 6 weeks. I need to get started again!! Currently i weigh 177 lbs on my scale, which is off a little, but I'll continue to use it. I know it takes away 5 lbs from my actual weight but I've used it for years and it's accurate minuse the 5lbs. I'm 5'4" and people say I carry my weight well, but whenever I see pictures of myself it's hard to believe that's me. I would love to lose 20lbs. I just have a hard time committing to it! I plan on starting weight watchers again, but just doing it at home on my own.. or w/ you!

I'll keep you up date. Please do the same

Linda

Hi Gypsy,
Welcome! I too am new, joined over the weekend. I attend my first ww meeting today. I'm guessing on my weight, but will guess no longer after today. Hovering somewhere around 180. UGH! But I am in a good place and happy to have found this site. I have found a lot of support here just from reading about other people. We all seem to have the same struggles. Best wishes for success and keep up the great work!

Hi! I am also doing this on my own this time. Having the support will definitely be appreciated. I get the same comments about carrying my weight well, but I also don't like what I see in pictures. I'll do my best to keep you up to date.

Gypsy, WW question

Hey Gypsy

I have thought about doing Weight Watchers but how do you do it at home with out going to meetings? I live in a very small town and the one lady who does the WW meetings is extremely rude so I will not return. Curious how you do it. Thanks
