Hello! I'm Kelly!

  • I'm just starting out on this website. I joined because I have gained 50 pounds since highschool. (that was four years ago) I weigh 183 right now and I'm trying to at least get to 150. I have two bad knees so any suggestions would be great. I already know about swimming (I was a swimmer) and ellipitical machines.

    I do already have a bit of a fitness background and I'm majoring in dietetics. I'm just lazy and I really like food
  • Hi Kelly - welcome to 3FC. You'll find lots of good company here. If you haven't found it yet, there is a special forum here for 20-somethings. You may find people there that you can really relate to.

    Majoring in dietetics should give you a great head-start knowing which foods to eat. Although the hard part not coming up with the plan - it's sticking to the plan! I've found that participating in the 21-day challenges really helps me stay accountable for staying on my program.

    Hopefuly someone will come along with some exercise ideas for bad knees.
