middle age and need a buddy
 

Hello every one----I'm new here,what a wonderful site to find a support group.I will admit to being in my mid 50's:D I have battled a weight problem all my life,and have found it a constant struggle trying to take off the extra poundage.I also have a thyroid problem,so beleive me when I say that the middle age spread,plus the hypo-thyroid creates a never ending battle:dizzy: or so it seems. Is there any one else out there that has the same problem as me?? I want to loose 50 lbs.,so far I have lost 10,over 3 months. It would be wonderful to find a diet buddy:) Thanks for listening,hp-lady

Yep... I'm 59 and had surgery to remove half my thyroid. It does make it tougher but it CAN be done; we just have to work really hard at eating right and exercise. However, I try hard not to focus on the difficulty but do things to make the process enjoyable!
