Hi newbie here

Hello all, I've signed up before but never posted and just gave up. I'm trying to lose all the weight I've gained in the past decade. I guess I'm looking for support! any new friends will be greatly welcomed!!

Howdy!

I too am a newbie here. I have been loosing weight since about June 2006 and I decided I need some support other than my doc (who could stand to loose about 75 pounds himself). It always helps to know you are not alone in things.

Keep up the good work everyone and remember that safe weightloss is no more than about 2 pounds (1Kg) a week. Anything more than that and you are probably loosing muscle, not fat.

Doc

Jumping On Board Today

I'm motivated yet scared to get started. 1 day at a time for a goal of 100 pounds. This mode of communication will be helpful. As much as my husband of 20 years thinks he can be of help, I have to find my own way.

I plan to join WW Online and visit at a meeting this week.

I'm new here, myself. Just joined up today. I've started the Michael Thurmond 6 week body makeover, but it's going to take me much longer than 6 weeks and I'm prepared for that. I've lost 17.2 pounds in 3 weeks and I'm very encouraged by that.

Hi to all. I'm so glad to have found new friends! :carrot:

Hi to all the new people!!

For some of us it's a longer term goal. It helps if you break it up into smaller chunks just so you feel less overwhelmed.

Sounds like you are all on the right track so far! keep it up! Positive thoughts and lots of water help me stay where I need to be.

You'll all love it here, everyone here is helpful and friendly
