Hi all,
I'm 43 and have lots to lose--body fat that is! I'm looking for support and to support others. I took an on-line nutrition course last semester and really enjoyed the support provided via the class discussion board, so I was very happy when I checked out this site and found the forums.
I've been married forever to a great man, we have 3 grown children, and 4 adorable grandchildren. I work full-time, and hit the gym each morning before work. My big problem is that I overeat because I just love
real food
, so I've really just maintained my weight for the past 12 years.
I'm focusing on making healthy food choices
most of the time, and am working to lose 60 to 70 pounds. I'm not following any particular diet, though I am looking at the South Beach diet for guidance with meal planning.
