Red face Email buddy!

Hi everyone,
My name is Stacey and I am a 35 year old single female from Ontario Canada.
I haven't been on these boards for a couple of months now and am finding myself struggling right now, I would really like an email buddy that could help me get back on track! Plus someone I would also help motivate!
I am counting calories and have started exercising again, I got lazy over the summer but am trying to get back into the routine again.
Hope to hear from you!
Stacey

Hi there -

I'm in Ontario, too, and have DEFINITELY fallen off the wagon as far as my eating & exercise goes! Ever since I got married, it's so much easier to eat the way my hubby does than to eat healthy, and to stay in bed and snuggle for an extra hour in the morning rather than going to the gym. But my pants are too tight to ignore, so it is time for a CHANGE. I've worked out for 3 days now, and eaten good for 2. . .and could definitely use a buddy!

HI there, I am new to these boards. I am counting my calories and exercising twice a day for at least 5 days a week. I am trying to stick to a 1300-1500 calorie diet which is going well for me. I also am drinking a lot of water. You are doing great, 31 pounds lost! Keep up the good work, get back on track and it will keep coming off!

Glad to see you're back Stacey.

We chatted back at the beginning of the year and then you kinda just disappeared. Hopefully things are going better and I would love to help motivate you to keep going.

We all encounter bumps in the road. Just dust yourself off and jump back in.

Welcome back and good luck!

Thank you to all that replied, and for the words of encouragement! It is nice to come read these messages when somedays you just want to give up! The worst part of it all was I had an older scale at home and thought I was doing really great, when I decided to weigh myself on a digital scale at work only to learn that my lovely old scale at home was 20 pounds off and NOT to my advantage! Let me tell you how depressing that was! Now I feel like I am back to where I pratically started! Oh well I just have to keep reminding myself that I have lost weight and just keep going!
Have a great day everyone!

Your scale may be off, but you did lose the weight, that is the important thing. The scale just gives you numbers, I bet your clothes are loose and you can see the difference. Remember you are more than your weight!!!!

Yes you are right, I guess I am just stuck on those stupid numbers! I am always focused on the numbers than focusing on what I have acomplished!
Thanks again!

I understand. My goal is to only weigh myself once a week but it is hard for me not to get on the scale. This morning I got on, I lost a pound from Monday which is good, but not the same as last week (3 pounds) but then I found a pair of shorts which were uncomfortably tight 3 weeks ago and they were comfy today!! So I know the work is paying off.

Hey congrats on the one pound weight loss and also that your shorts are fitting better, when that happens you always feel like you are doing something right!
