Hi! New here

  • I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I've been lurking for awhile and reading all the info on the forum. I started out at 160 and I'm down to 145. I keep struggling with the same 5 lbs. though. I've been getting down to 140 but keep going back up to 145. I'm struggling but I refuse to give up. I will admit, I am addicted to candy. I love jellybeans, twizzlers, starbursts, anything like that. Well, I just wanted to introduce myself. I hope to make some new friends here.

  • well you have found a chocolate fiend. hi my name is jen and chocolate is my weakness. sounds like a support group. lol ive been up and down with my weight for my entire life. im hoping this time will stick.

    hey Brodey - Chocolate is a given. I've never met woman who doesn't love chocolate. M&M's are my favorites. I'm 31 and live in Pennsylvania.

    It's so tough in the grocery store. I go by the candy isle and can hear the candy calling my name. And when there's a sale, I can't pass up a
    bargain.
  • I work in a grocery store,now that is what I call tempation.I kinda had a hard time tonight but I will start fresh again tomorrow.
  • Wow, that must be hard working at a grocery store. But your doing the right thing. If you had a bad day or night just pick yourself up and start again. If there's one thing I've learned to do is not to dwell on it.
  • i used to work in a candy story called B-sweet. its one of those places where you take a bag and fill it up with candy. that was a major problem for me. (well not really too much of a problem) lol

    jelly- way to go on ur 145! i cant wait for the day that im 150!
    chubby- keep ur hopes high. you know what u do... just look at all the people in the candy isle with no control and no hope. and try to be a better person. you can do it!

    Welcome from another newbie. Don't get angry and frustrated with yourself. I used to do that all the time and realized it wasn't helping me any. Besides look at all the weight you've lost already. That's a huge accomplishent. You should be proud of yourself. Staying motivated is one of the toughest things. What kind of workouts do you do? I walk or ride my stationary bike or do Taebo.
