Well Lisa, your original post definately struck a chord with me! Every time I "fall off" the healthy wagon, I say just that..."I'll start new again tomorrow" and I guess that I am giving myself permission to ruin the rest of the day~food-wise. I too am starting new RIGHT NOW, not tomorrow! If I slip at some point in the future, I need to accept that as 1 slip up and move on...not pig-out for the rest of the day because of it.
I too am tired of my weight and it is time for me to get very serious....I am sick of feeling lousy and like you, thinking "I wish...". If I do not do something now, I will be wishing forever! I lost 55lbs two years ago, then gained back 15lbs, so as of right now, I have about 25 lbs to lose to meet the goal I have set of 150. I will adjust that goal if needed as I get closer, I am 5'8" tall and I may need to lose more, I am not sure. I hope that I can be a help to anyone who may need it. Darcy |
