Hi.. I am looking to buddy up and motivate and be motivated by others who are already successful in their weightloss journey.. I have over 50 to lose and am following w/w points currently. So far it is slow going but I think my body is really starting to kick it up a notch..to steal a line from emerill..haha .
I live in southern Delware and would love to buddy up with other women or moms.. looking forward to hearing from you.. Kim

HI!
My name is Lia, I'm 24 and would like to lose 30 pounds.
I am currently 175, size 10 comfortably... and would like to get down to 145.
I work out 4-7 days a week, so I am in shape, but I would like to get rid of some of the unnessecary bulk.
I would really appreciate the support.

Hi... I'm also a SAHM and would like to loose 50 pounds. I already lost 82 pounds and would like to loose 50 more to be at my ultimate goal. Loosing weight is so much easier when you have a buddy.

Hi everyone.. tomorrow I will start a thread called SAHM's Losin' it...ok?? we can post there.. if I find it is getting burried too far back i will make it with dates.. anyways.. glad to have buddies!

Lorra, we are very close to the same weight and being a sahm we can relate to being in a house with food around all the time.. I am following ww points system .. doing really good right now! I too can't wait for onderland.. but my goal is 10 pound increments like it was 230 then 220 etc... I also committed to not eating after 8pm.. no calorie drinks either..only water.... i don't go to bed til 12 so that is tough at times..but I have noticed a great increase in my weightloss..yeah!! I need to lose at least 70-80! so welcome aboard.. I have 6 youngens.. well oldest 22 and youngest 6.. how about all of you???

Jenn
..awesome job losing 82!! how did you accomplish that and how long?? I agree when you have buds it really keeps you going and you can share info and support and root? each other on..

Lia.. welcome.. glad to hear you already are doing what works..congrats!!! do you have any kids??

Well the whole family went out for chinese tonite so we'll see what terror the scales hold for me tomorrow.. I hope ok..I did not get overstuffed.. and I do have flex points to use..so I should be ok..except for the salt..I get bloated after eating chinese sometimes.. talk later..Kim

Hi Kim- I've lost all of my weight so far by doing Atkins and of course exercising. My kids deserve some of the credit. I have a 10 yr old.and an 18mo. old that I have to run around after sometimes I haven't had a chance to exercise as much as I would like to due to family visiting, however... my eating habits have been excellent and I haven't cheated once since I re-started doing Atkins 11 days ago.

Hello. I just re-joined. Can I join this group? I am 41 and trying to follow w/w points plan. Need a bit of support. Read the 3fatchicks book and thought maybe I should try it again.

Tonia

where do we get the tickers?

Hi Tonia and welcome back!!!! You can go to the User CP tab towards the top left of the page and click on it, then to the left you want to click on edit signature. To the right of the page, it will show you how to create your own ticker.

~ When you say you're following atkins.. are you at the point where you can eat any breads, rice, pasta or grains, potatoes.. so what would a typical day menu be like for you if you don't mind sharing.. I have been super sooper good foloowing my points and exercising.. so weigh in wed should be really good... i already adjusted my ticker tho.. i was 232 last wed.. so i may not get to move it.. but i was so excited!!
Today we have company up from PA for a couple days.. so mega kids in and out,, so we;ll see what kind of puter time I get... talk later..Kim

Good Morning!!

Kim- I'm currently back into induction phase. I was doing Atkins about 2-3 months ago and unfortunately, fell off the wagon. Today makes day 12 that I'm back on track and cheat-free I'm not eating any breads, rice, pasta or grains right now. This is an idea of what one of my typical menus are..

Breakfast- 2 scrambled eggs, 3-4 slices of bacon or 2-3 pieces of sausage
Lunch- 1 cup of salad greens with ranch dressing. 1 cup of Tuna.
Dinner- 1 chicken breast (grilled on my George Foreman), 1 cup of green beans, 1 cup of salad greens with bacon bits, shredded cheese and ranch dressing.

Snacks: string cheese, sliced cucumbers, a few slices of pickles, pork rinds...

That's just an idea of what I eat, of course I still have to keep my carb count at 20 or below so whatever goes in my mouth gets noted so I can keep up. I tried soooo many other diets and this is the ONLY ONE that has worked for me.
