Default New to this...

Hello all...

Well, crap! Where do I begin? I am so new to all of this it's not even funny!!! Well, I gave birth to twins in 2003 and at my one month post-partum checkup I weighed 317. I have been able to drop FINALLY to 206, but I have been stuck here for about 4 months, not moving up or down. I recently (Saturday) joined Weight Watchers and am doing the Flex. I think I will like Flex better than core because I feel like I am more in control of what I am putting in my body.

Anyway, I've got a "few" more to go and would like to do that by the end of the year. I have always been fat and I want to go home for Christmas looking red-hot! Not to mention that my husband would be a little pleased too!

So, here's the deal. I REALLY need people to support me on this. Not to sound like a "sob-story", but I lost my mother to breast cancer last August and she was my biggest cheerleader! I would love to meet some people who can encourage me and I as well you...

Be blessed!

Welcome! You've already done a fabulous job, and you're so close to onederland. Congratulations! I'd love to chat with you. PM me if you'd like. I've still got about 66 lbs to lose and I'm aiming for March of 2007. Also be sure and look around the board. I don't do WW but I know there are lots of people here who do.

Hi! I'm doing WW flex online and have had good success so far. It seems that we both have close to the same goal weight, so if you need a cheerleader, I'm more than willing! Pm me and we can swap email addy's.

Hi, welcome to 3FC! It's nice to meet another Tennessee chick I'm sorry for your loss My aunt passed last month, also due to cancer. It can be quite a wake up call, can't it? I'm looking forward to getting to know you and watching you reach your goal, as we all get healthier in the process.

Good luck!

Thanks! I started out Somersizing (from the Suzanne Somer's books). It's kind of morphed into calorie counting while eating those same foods as before. I like calorie counting because then I can have a little more control.

I bet you'll be looking great by Christmas!
