Hi everyone,

I found this site today so hey here I am. I started back on the 'wagon' 1 week ago yesterday. I don't have a scale in the house and I'm SO afraid of what it's gonna say but it's over 200, that much I do know. I am going to buy one but I think I need a couple of weeks under my belt before I step on.

Like everyone else I'm no newbie to diets or weight loss. I've had weight issues since I was about 14. Once the hormones kicked in the pounds kicked in too.

Anyway I'm interested in finding a buddy! Someone who might be interested in chatting with me on yahoo/msn or something would be cool, on a regular basis. I like the forums but I like to chat real time also. I tried the chat room here a couple of times but so far nobody is there but me!

I am in Pacific time zone so probably someone near that time zone would be interested in chatting regularly? Let me know!

A little about me: I just got married last year, in Las Vegas, I'm 36 and no children, 2 cats. I'm trying to go vegetarian also. Interests include computers/graphic design (my job), photography and other art related things. I have a very supportive hubby and we have our own home gym in the basement with a treadmill and eliptical so I have no excuses not to exercise.

I'm glad I found this place.. it's nice to see a forum that doesn't only have people who are looking to lose 5 pounds. I can't relate to that. I'm not into gimmicks or pills and just need to do it honestly.

Nice to meet you and YES it is beautiful here. I have been here almost 2 years now. I hope to stay a while. The weather here is great. Never too cold and rarely too hot (today though is a bit warmer than usual). And the best thing is, you're never far from the ocean! I'm originally from the east coast so in that way it's much like home here.

Yes actually you're quite close to where I am, just a boat ride away. We drove past Seattle on the way here but unfortunately no time to stop.
