Newb with a budget
 

Hi all! I'm posting my first (of probably several) notes, and my first issue is South Beach phase 1 groceries. How much are you guys spending for a week at the store. My DH and I are starting phase 1 this Saturday and are shopping tomorrow night. We are heavy dessert eaters so I'm looking at 3 meals, 2 snacks, and dessert daily. I see a lot of the same ingredients repeated (thankfully) but I'm wondering about an average weekly grocery bill.

Hey Crystal!
I am doing the south beach phase one also. And I find I'm spending about $100 the first week of the month and then $50 - $70 each week after that. the first week is usually when I restock on spices, and condiments..so it costs a little more. I highly recommend costco if you have one near you...it will save you in the long run!!!
