Old broad needs a buddy

Am a lady in the 50s who needs another old lady to be her buddy. Am trying out the 3 hour diet by Jorge Cruise and hoping to be successful. Have about a whole person to lose so need someone who is interested in being my buddy for a while.

What do you say ? Anyone out there like me?
Julie from the Wilds of Kansas:)

Welcome Julie! But you have to be careful what you call an old broad around here. :o The 50-somethings hang out in the Lifting threads! ;)

Did you find the threads for Jorge?

Welcome Julie! You can always wander down to the Back In Kindergarteners thread (under misc groups) we have all ages in the group. Our common thread is having fun and supporting each other. Come join us!

HI Julie, I'm in my 50's, I'd be happy to have a buddy! My e-mail is [email protected]. Looking forward to getting to know you.

Is 55 close enough? I am Mom to 2 (1 each) and grandma of 2 (1 each) here and 1 in heaven. My husband and I will be married 31 years this month----so unbelievable. He travels a lot so I tend to eat out of lonliness I think. I am just trying to eat healthy, but what I really need to get moving again. My weight seems to stay at the same 200, but the muscles have lost some of their smoothness. I would love a couple of buddies who would be willing to chat now and again as well as provide an extra help. Bonnie

Another Old Broad

Hi, Spring Chicken66740
:)

I'm another old broad in my 50's.with 50 pounds to lose. I would be glad to be your buddy. I am married with two grown children and a cat.
:?:

I'm diabetic on oral meds with a nasty case or neuropathy in my feet which results in the occasional urge to take a chainsaw to them. I'm not on any diet at the moment, believe me, I've tried them all. I'm just trying to cut a lot of things out of my diet. I'm on a newer oral medication which works in a different way from the old medication which wasn't working very well any more. So far this new medication has not worked very well either, so I hope there's a Plan B other than insulin. I know I need to lose weight to help with the diabetes, but the oral medications make it almost impossible to lose.

I do a lot of walking and that seems to help. I have golfed for several years in a league and walked all 9 holes. The experts say that golf is not exercise. They obviously have no idea where I hit that ball; believe me, I see areas of the course that aren't meant for human eyes. I had rotator cuff surgery in January so I'm not golfing yet and I may be out for the season. It's healing really slow.

look forward to hearing from you.

Old Broads

I just needed to say I am an old Broad, and I am proud of it! :carrot: I promised myself that I would never let age be a problem for me. I am proud to be a hot granny! Ok so the body isn't quite as little as it was in my 20s, but my attitude hasn't changed much....although I do admit the mind is cruising a bit slower.
