Hi Newbie from NH

Hi all I just came across this site while searching for online weightloss support groups and I am very happy I found you all. I've been looking threw the site all night.
My name is Chris I'm from NH, I'm the stay at home mom of 3 children 2 daughters ages 8 & 2 and a son who is 3. They keep me very busy but don't leave me much time for myself. I've been married for 4 1/2 years.
I have been batteling obisity just about my whole life. Currently I'm around 315 pounds down from not being able to get a weight on my scale (it goes up to 330 lbs) I'm pretty pleased with myself so far but my big problem is commitment I always *start* dieting but within a couple days it's out the window. Right now I'm trying to loose a bit of weight for my brothers wedding on July 15th I'm in the wedding and already have my dress and it's a bit snug so I'd like it to fit a little better before the wedding. Then after that I want to be on my way to my ultimate goal of around 160 pounds I'm 5'6" so I feel that would be a good weight for me. I have a big problem with beign too busy to eat durring the day I'll be cleaning and taking care of the kids all day and totally forget about eatting anything till dinner time when I find myself starving and I eat WAY too much then end up feeling awful and way too full. I got myself a little timer which I've been setting for 3 hours to remind myself to have something small to eat even a handfull of baby carrots just something to get into my system so I'm not starving come 5:00. It seems to be helping but sometimes I don't hear the timer go off so I end up right back at square 1 that day. It's pretty frusterating. I also don't drink anything all day till dinner except for coffee in the morning (VERY BAD) :(
Well I just wanted to introduce myself to you all. I'm up for any ideas you have to help me I'm finally ready to do this!
Thanks and Take Care,
Chris

Hi Chris
Welcome. This has been a really fun site to watch and get involved in. I think you might find the 100 lb club to be very helpful for the situation you are in. I have gotten a lot of help there, even ranted and raged once or twice. Good luck in your journey. I know you will do great.

Trish :)
