Hello! I'm really new at this, but excited about the prospect of having some sort of support group for my weight struggles. I am 30 years old, and my weight has been a problem my entire life. I've been through every diet, WW, and a nasty bought with bulimia. Now that I'm over the bulimia, my weight is the highest ever. Anyone that is looking for some support and just someone to talk to about their struggle...I'm your gal!

I am in Phase 1 of South Beach and my goal is to get down to 120 lbs. I am gonna face reality in an hour or so i am having my husband buy a scale! I am also looking for support and someone to talk with as well.

SweetCharade and Mudbugs - I'm in York - South Central PA (Amish country). Thanks for responding! I was on WW for about 3 months and lost 20 lbs. I'm looking to get back on it, or try the Sonoma Diet. I think I'm going to do it from home...going to meetings gets so expensive!! My goal is 130, and I currently have 33 to go. What type of exercises do you guys do? I'm having a hard time getting motivated! Oh, and I know too well about the scale. I had to put it in the closet -- I was weighing myself too much!

I am from Monterrey, Mexico. I am 35, and weight was not an issue for me until I got pregnant the first time (4 years ago). I currently weight 132, and I am aiming for 107.
Last wednesday I started exercising. I dont have much time, but I try to walk and jog 4 times a week for 30 minutes. I started last week with some buddies from work, we exercise during our lunch time, that gives us energy to continue working for the rest of the afternoon. I am not on a diet, just trying to reduce bad fats and simple carbohydrates and eat 3 meals with two snacks.
If you want to start exercising, I strongly recommend walking. It is very relaxing and easy, and best of all, FREE.

Hi guys i'm from Greensburg about 30 miles east of Pittsburgh, about 5 miles fron Steelers training camp :-) I have a treadmill but have not really started using it yet!! I just started phase 1 on SB i'm up for chatting anytime!

Hey girl -- my daughter lives in York! I know exactly where that is...!

.....and I can vouch for JerseyGyrl...Her main squeeze lives in Pittsburgh, so she's a very intelligent, savvy and classy chick! Plus, look at her pictures...she is PURE INSPIRATION.

I'm orginally from the South...just like the 3FCs...grew up on fried chicken and lots of carbs...always been the chubby girl...and the "you have such a pretty face" girl.

I have a question, though...I've seen the incredible weight loss from some of you girls, and I'm sure most of you have families that keep you busy. How do you find the time and motivation to lose the weight?
