Default Newbie here! starting all over on WW, must exercise 7 days/week, PCOS, 100+ goal

Hi all

well my subject line summed me up pretty well!

I am really in need of some support I think. I sabotage myself (looking back 20/20) often and sometimes it has to do with my health issues. I have insulin resistance/PCOS and it is hard to see results on diets.

the Dr told me yesterday to get moving 30-60 ++ every day of the week - OR ELSE!

I am planning to start tomorrow. Walking 20-30 minutes each day... then I think I might join a gym... maybe curves ... and do 3-4 days a week there... then when we open our pool I want to learn how to do some water exercising!! all good on paper- but I have to DO IT.

Then there's the WW online that I do - I have to reign it in and start up again. I have to watch my fiber and carbs more...

I'm overwhelmed as usual, but more concerned about follow thru!

I was hoping to find local walking buddies in teh REading, PA area - but that has been a difficult task... the few online sites I hit - had nothing near me.

I also need some real good support... a friend in the trenches if you will.

I am online often use all the IMs when I need to...

If anyone isn't overwhelmed yet - give me a buzz BLOSSOM696 on the yahoo IM

Hi there.. I just want to say that IMO you are really trying to do too many things at once.. I think walking and maybe curves or some other type of workout is a lot to work on a daily basis and doing weight watchers is wonderful - their diet plan has worked for me in past years but just try not to overwhelm your entire life with diet and exercise or you will get overwhelmed and frustrated and quit. All your ideas are terrific but if it's too much for you all at once just take baby steps.. I know for me I have been semi motivated for a few weeks and have severly changed my grocery list, commited to 3 times a week at curves and bought an ab lounger for home work outs when I feel like it.. and that is a lot in just a couple of weeks. So all I'm saying is, if you feel overwhelmed, you probably are. TONS of LUCK and HUGS to you though, good luck, you can do it!!!

I think your right, Brenda.
Baby steps works. So far, myself, I have cut out soda. I only had a few sips of sprite when I was sick with the flu, and since I was sick I really haven't had an appetite, but even when I did eat I tried to make healthier choices.
