Oh bellybella-i can feel your pain on the bloating, that was me last week, i was miserable! They say lots of water is supposed to help you with bloating (although i never feel like it helps me). I love working out in the morning and i am on the east coast-northern VA right outside of DC, where is everyone else? I feel so energetic afterwards. Plus if i dont do it in the morning, i flake out on it in the afternoon. After we decided to do a challenge, i made a work out schedule, did anyone else do this? Here is my schedule, what do you think?

M-cardio on treadmill in the AM-strength training in the PM or on lunch
T-yoga in the am
W-cardio on treadmill in the AM-strength training in the PM or on lunch
Th-yoga in the am
F-cardio on treadmill in the AM
Plus i am going to try to work a 30 minute walk in at lunchtime on T and Th. I really want to stick with it.

I think it looks great Cindy. Your workouts are pretty similar to mine except that I don't do yoga. I need to do more strength training though. I may do like 10 min in the morning and then 10 min of it at night. I've been walking or joggin in the morning and then walking at night.

UGH!!!! I either have allergies or I'm coming down w/ something and so I haven't been yp to working out. How are the rest of you doing? I did lose a pound though!! Yippee!!!

Hi everyone,
I was out of town last weekend, so i didnt do any exercise over the weekend. But back to the grind. Here are my updated stats. I am really feeling frustrated bc i am not loosing any weight! Are you feeling better bellybella?

Well TOM arrived so I'm not grouchy anymore. What kind of workouts are you doing Cindy??? I think maybe I need to do more weight lifiting to speed up this slow metabolism that I have. My weight isn't budging either. Whats everyone else doing?? What happened to everyone???

alwaybeleive are you still around??

Well, today I'll have to do strength training if I don't do it will someone kick my *** for it please????

Hi there,
Glad you are feeling better! Well i am working on the treadmill doing intervals in the morning. So for example, this morning, i warmed up by walking for 4 minutes, the then ran at 6 for 2 minutes, then ran at 4.8-5.0 for 2 minutes, and proceeded like that as long as i could, which ended up being around 20-22 minutes, then i kept doing intervals but at a lower intensity (jog/walk), ending up for a total of 38 minutes on the treadmill. My strength training i am still experiementing with. In the afternoons, i do 10 reps/2 sets with 5 lb freewieghts on my arms, including push ups, leg exercises (leg lifts, calf raises, squats, etc. between 30-50, and situps around 100, 25 of 4 different kinds. I am trying to do that 2 times a week and yoga at least once if not twice. but this will be my first full week, so i hope i can stick to it. What strength training are you doing?

I have a dvd called 8 min abs/arms and 8 min legs and buns. It's a really good dvd. Sometimes I'll just do some dumbells on my own. You know once the gym renovation is over I will start really working out hard. It's kinda hard for me to do it on my own and I really like doing the classes.

Morning! Who makes those DVD's, that sounds like something i would be interested in, i really need to step up my strength training. Do you use dumbells with the DVD? I feel awful, i ate really crappy yesterday!! I am so mad at myself. I totally pigged out on candy, i hate it when i do that!! Sometimes i feel like i am never going to lose any wieght bc i just can't seem to exert the will power i need to lose it.

I just use dumbels. I know that a lot of people use rsistance bands and those are good too. It's nice to follow a video. You know??

I had bad cramps yesterday so I took a day off from working out. Oh well. I will catch up to you so you better watch out!!!
