Trying Again
Hi all! I'm new to this site. Just found it yesterday. I, like a lot of you, have been trying some diet or another almost my entire life. I'm 5'9", according to my doctor I should weight between 135 & 169. Currently I'm at 194.:mad: My first goal is to get to 170 and then from there I'd like to go to 155 and stay there.;) I tried the Atkins diet a couple of years ago and did really well on that, but, (there's alway a but) when I got to where I wanted to be I thought this is great and went back to my old eathing habits (first mistake). I put everything back on and more.
I went to see my doctor yesterday who suggested that I try Medifast for a while and see how I do on that and when I get to my goal weight he will teach me how to eat post Medifast. He said he did it himself for a while and did really well on it and has been able to keep his weight off afterwards. I started it yesterday. Ofcourse this is only my second day but as of yet I have not been hungry, **crossing fingers**, so I'm real hopeful. Thanks for the welcome's, I really appreciate it.
I'm gonna need all the help I can get.:( I've seen a lot of really good posts with alot of good idea's. (Made mental note on several). I'll post back to let everyone know how it's going in a week or so. Thanks again!!! |
