Hello Everybody

Hello! I am a 20 yr old college sophmore. I currently weigh in at 194.4lbs. My Weight Gain Journey was painful and extremely emotional. But I have lifted myself (with help from people who love me) out of that dark hole and I am walking myself back to a healthier, happier lifestyle. I browsed around before I registered and found you all to be motivating. Cant wait to get to know you all! :running: So now i am starting my Weight Loss Journey (Although it will be a slow start considering i have a sprained ankle!) Oops!

Welcome to the forum! I'm glad you're out of that deep hole... I know it well. (there's also a depression/weight loss forum here if you're interested...)
You'll find some great support here... post around a bit, and you'll soon find a comfortable niche. :)
I hope the ankle heals quickly!

Hi! I'm new to the form also and I agree that it has a very motivating atmosphere. Everyone is so nice and supportive.

I noticed that we have similar stats...I want to get down to 145 by the time I start college this coming fall.

Do you have a certain plan that you are following? All I'm doing right now is trying to eat healthier and exercise more....and drink lots of water. It's something that I know I can stick with.

Well, I hope to hear more from you. :)

And good luck!

 Hi Ellis! I spied that forum earlier but haven't made my way over there yet.... Thanks!

 Hi Kim! I don't have a specific plan- just lots of water, better food choices, daily exercise (when not injured), and learning to love me a little more each day. I wish you the best of luck on getting to your goal before college, you will need that discipline to avoid "freshman weight gain"- but you can absolutly do it! Good Luck!
