  • Howdy folks! I am new to this site, and would like to introduce myself and tell you all a little about my life. I am 28yrs old as of April 2nd, and currently engaged to be married in the Fall of this year to a wonderful man. I have been dieting off and on now for 5 years ....more off than on it seems . In 1999, I suffered a broke leg, blown out knee, and 2 broke discs in my back, due to a x-boyfriend who decided to take his anger out on me. Since then I have had many surgeries to repair the damage, and during that time of lying around getting better again I gained more weight than I care to carry around. I often turn to food to help soothe the pain at times, and my exercising is limited due to my current physical condition, but I do what I can. Daily I walk down at our local track and have began a diet plan that seems to be working well for me. I hope to feel happy about myself like I once did, but also gain a healthier lifestyle at the same time. I have tremendous support from my Family and fiance and hope to gain your support also . I look forward to hearing from all of you and Thankyou for your time.
  • Hi and This place is great you'll get lots of support. How much do you walk a day? And if you want there are a bunch of us doing a 4th of july challenge you just pick how much weight you want to lose by then and try to make that goal.

  • I try and walk 4 times a week for 30 minutes if I can . Yes, I will get right on signing up for the 4th of July weight loss celebration ! Yes, I had to pick that avatar, because I have two of those little dogs who are like my kids, and my bestfriends Thankyou for your reply, and looking forward to more!
