Hi Everyone! Recruitting new members for the Beat the Bulge ~Game 3!!
For those of you that don't know about this game let me explain the details: The game starts on Monday, April 10/06 and will end on Monday May 10/06. We work on a points system that is as follows: Exercise: 1 point for every 20 mins of exercise(no half points allowed, we want you to get another point!) Water: 1 point for every half gallon/2 litres/64 oz. Meals: 1 point for every Healthy meal( maximum of 3 per day) Snacks: half a point for every Healthy snack Because some of us eat 5-6 smaller meals a day the first 3 will count as full points and the other 2-3 will be half points, just to keep things fair for everyone. Pounds/inches lost per week: 2 points for every Pound AND inch lost! Please sign up here or on the BTB Members chat thread located in the Support groups section. ok I'm up for a challenge! (if thats ok) I really need a challenge and motivation and :drill:- Dr. told me i have to lose 20 lbs before June 22 or i have to go on Insulin-not my idea of fun- don't like needles :( where do i sign up ?? do i wait for the 10th ??? .. I know how to exercise & eat right- i know what I need to do for my health I just can't seem to get off my lazy behind and accomplish it!

I'm going to aim for at least 110 points in that month. :twirly: Does that seem like a lot, or not enough? How much are you guys going for? The only problem is that I won't get any points for snacking-- I am definitely not a snack person.

110 points.....up to you I guess! We have some people that are getting 40 points a week and some that are getting 80 points a week! Crazy I know, but it sure makes you want to get your butt in gear!! I have you all signed up!! |

Hey everybody - Can I join? Like the rest of us - I need all the motivation I can get! Is a pound a point and an inch a point or do they have to be together? If you exercise 45 minutes each day can you add the 5 minutes from each day together? Sorry to sound so dumb.:dizzy:

This sounds like a great way to get excited about my weight loss again. After 4 months of WW, I've gotten a little bored, so I'm in! Do I just tell you or do I need to do something else? Let me know

Coastalgirl~ we all have to try and get those 20 mins for a point, so even if you have to streach for the last 5 minutes to get the point, do it!:) We haven't had anyone add minutes from one day to the next, we just go day by day.And it is 2 points for every pound and/or inch that week!

Going to have to get in gear LOL. Wendy you are right... if I have done 10 or 15 extra minutes of exercise NO WAY am I going to not get to count it so I will go do my workout balls or something LOL. Every little bit helps! And I am FLOATING in water, ha! :) |

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I measured myself last week but must have deleted the place in Excel where I wrote it down; so now I can't tell if I lost any measurements for this week! Oh well... new game starts soon so I can start again. :)
