Chat Buddy
 

I started coming here earlier this week and I am really enjoying it and thought I might enjoy a chat buddy as well. My name is Courtnie and I am 20 years old. I started at 215 and currently weigh 208.2. I hope to one day be down to 130 (but I have smaller goals planned between there). I started about a month and a half ago. Having some troubles getting the weight off and would just like to chat with other people in the same boat as me (I think my boyfriend is getting sick of hearing about it! hehe). I live in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. And... that's about it I think! Oh - I am a content developer for a web company so I am on the computer all day (and on MSN! haha).

This is such an awesome website! I can identify with so many people here! I know what you mean about your boyfriend being tired of hearing it, my husband is too. lol. I want to start a healthy eating program and stick to it. I have lost 90 pounds 4 different times in my life. It always finds it's way back home. I need to loose 100 pounds now. It seems like loosing it is hard but maintaining is even harder! My attitude about loosing and gaining back has held me back. I have been 10 pounds overweight for about 5 years now. My health is suffering with sleep apnea and heart disease, I HAVE to make a permanent change and could use your encouragement as I encourage you! You are young and can prevent health issues as you get older if you start now by gaining permanent control of eating habits. Easier said than done though isn't it? I'll be glad to correspond with you anytime!:flow2:

Hey Courtnie! I'm pretty much online all the time these days, and thought I'd say hi! It's always nice to have a new buddy! I think my bf is also getting sick of hearing me talk about weight loss all the time, its nice to talk to people who can RELATE about it! I am also from beautiful BC as well.. Have a good one!
