can any one tell me ie sug sub can cause fluid reation

I haven't heard about it causing fluid retention, but it affects everybody's bodies differently (they have a lot of chemicals). I've heard of it causing weight gain and weight loss stalls. It doesn't have any affect on my weight loss. It usually inadvertantly causes weight gain because people "make up" for the calories they "save" by using the artificial sweetners. Which one are you using? Most people seem to have the less problems using Splenda, but I use aspartame (Nutrasweet) faithfully.

My aunt gave up all artificial sweeteners-- especially diet soda-- and said that she had massive migraines for a few days, and then when they went away she felt more alert and sharp-minded than she ever remembers. I gave up diet soda a few weeks ago (I still have an Equal in my tea though) and haven't noticed any obvious changes, so I guess that just goes to show how different bodies react differently. Maybe you'd want to try to give it up (just for a little while, as an experiment) and see how you feel? If nothing happens, you can probably assume that it has no drastic effects on you.
