Newbie Looking to Lose for Prom
I'm a 17 year old girl that lives in Canada. I know I need to exercise more (right now I walk to and from school but that's only about 10 minutes each way) just with school, homework and work work I never feel I have the time. I'm hoping this site will help me change that!
My eating habits of course need to improve as well, so just hopefully I can do it all before prom comes around. Even if I just lose a little weight before then I'll be happy. Right now I'm 180 pounds and about 5 feet 10 inches. My goal is to make it to about 140-150 pounds. |
Hi, I'm Nikki. I'm 17 too and I'm also try to lose a little weight (12 pounds, to be exact.) I'm new to the boards too and I'm looking for some people to talk to with the same goal as me, to lose weight.
I lost 30 pounds a few years ago, and before I lost that weight I had never really exercised much at all, now I do it everyday and it feels weird if I don't exercise. I think you just have to push yourself to do it, even a half hour a day at first. After awhile I think it'll just naturally become a habit & you won't feel like it's something you have to do.
