New here and need a buddy!!
Hi! I am new here and need a buddy!! Here is a little about me. I am 25 years old and just had my second child in December. I am still trying to loose my baby weight. I have a wedding in July and would like to be at my goal weight by then. I still have about 15 pounds to go. My starting weight was 172 and now I am 153. I am breast feeding and having a hard time with cravings and being hungry all the time!!! I just need some support to help me along! Thanks for reading!!

Welcome, Keri!
Congratulations on getting the weight off NOW! My baby is 10 years old, and I'm still trying to get the weight off. It sounds as though you may need to eat more during the day. I don't mean you should chow down, but try having three meals a day with three snacks. Often when we get cravings, it's because we're genuinely hungry without realizing it. We need to fuel our body throughout the day. Try having a mid-morning snack, a mid-afternoon snack, and another mid-evening. Enjoy the breast feeding... I loved nursing my babies... it's such a special time. |
I am trying my best to eat smaller meals more often but it is hard!! I have something outside of the house like playgroup or story time everyday during the week with my 22 month old. When we get home I am busy getting the boys feed and down for a nap. Then that is my time to get things done or nap my self. My cravings don't hit me until around 10:00 at night. I know the worst time!!

Hi Keri,
I read somewhere... Oprah in a mag I think, that it is best if we eat every 3 hours. That way we dont allow ourself to get to that totally starving phase where we just chow out. It also has something to do with how the fat & muscle breaks down to. I am trying tyo follow that as much as possible at the moment in a attempt to manage my cravings. Just a thought. Good luck.
