Just Sayin' Hi

Hello Everyone!

A friend told me about your community and I decided to come check it out. Right now I'm not really following any particular diet but I am starting to exercise regularly. I just got a recumbent bike and am borrowing a stair stepper and one of those Chuck Norris things from someone. Wouldn't mind having a buddy to keep me motivated. I have been large most of my life (a few short-lived but fun skinny parts) and would like to finally be able to live a little instead of obsessing over my weight.

Nice to Meet you all and look forward to getting to know you!
Jen

Hi Guys! Thanks for the welcomes! Yes, that is a rottie but her nubby tail is supposed to be wagging (still working on the animation) I'm a rottie momma! This site looks like it has a ton of great information on it. Can't wait to start working my way through some of it. I need all the help I can get!

Welcome Jen! I'm a Rottie Mom too.. Good luck, and you will love the support here. This place is making my journey so much easier, I wish I would have found it years ago!

Yay! Another Rottie Mom! My old girl is 11 and bratty as ever. She and I used to walk five miles a day but she can't do it any more-bad hips and arthritis in general. And I feel bad going out walking without her because she loved it so much (I know that sounds like a lame excuse, but it's true! She hates it when I leave the house without her. I get the big ol' brown eyed sad "how could you?" look.) Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm off to find some advice about adding vegetables to the diet of a vegetable-hater! ;)
