Another Newbie!

Hi Everyone!

I'm a newbie to the board. I found it on a random web search. I wanted a forum to meet new people (make some new friends!) and be able to find out what is working for others.

I am currently waiting on a diagnosis for a health issue. The doctor is currently working on the basis that it is either PCOS, Diabetes, or a form of cancer (uterine or cervical) so while I am playing the waiting game on finding out what's up I'm working on my weight! The doctor was encouraging, but told me if I wanted to have lots of little munchkins I needed to get my weight under control.

I'm working simply on a calorie limiting diet. Using a program called Diet Power 4.0. Anyone else using it?? Trying to excerise a lot more and remaining hopeful.

Well I don't want to waste a ton of space. I look forward to reading lots of posts in the future and making some awesome friends.

Lots of happy weight loss wishes!

hi there

I have PCOS and am now trying to lose weight to have another little munchkin. Going to start trying again in August and would like to lose as much as I can before then. Hope your health issue turns out to be the lesser of all the concerns. Never heard of your diet I'm trying WW....but am here if you need a buddy or just someone to chat with.

Hey Ladies,
RB..Welcome and I hope everything works out well for you. I, am early pcos myself, in fact when I was pregnant with my little Spencer they thought I had a giant cyst blocking my period.
Anyone else want to use first names here, less confusing...
Tara

Thanks for responding! I got some news yesterday that they ruled out Cervical Cancer as a cause..and they said my blood work came back..normal? What ever that means. Putting a call into the doctor on monday to get some clarification. Really hoping they can rule out uterine cancer to, then I feel like I can deal with anything they throw at me.

I don't know what I'll do about a diet if I find out its PCOS. I suppose more research. I'm so excited to have buddies on here!

My name is Rebecca BTW :D
