Another Newbie!

  • Hello! I am so glad I found this site. It is nice to not feel so alone!

    I just started my diet yesterday. I want to lose 100 pounds. That just seems so unreal to me! I used to be so thin. It is hard to believe how much I weigh now! My doctor keeps telling me to stop stressing out about it, (my weight is mostly due to a medical issue.... MOSTLY but not all!), but that is easier said than done!

    I just bought a new Mustang and get a lot of attention. I told my friend I feel like people look at the car and think nice car but a fat chick is driving it... I want them to think nice car and look at the babe! LOL! My husband didn't like hearing that!

    I am counting calories and exercising. I hate to exercise.... So that will be a challenge. And not eating junk! Someone just brought a bunch of cookies into the office.... NO! Not even going to look at them! Anyway, I am buying a treadmill next week. Just hope I actually stick to the plan and use it for exercising instead of a clothes dryer!

    Wow... I just went on and on! But this is me. I have a long road ahead... hope I don't get discouraged and give up!
  • It's so hard working in an office while on a diet! I sympathize with you! Sitting behind a desk all day (I know because I do!), it's hard to get any extra movement in without making a concentrated effort to exercise. And dont get me started on the gratuitious food! I work at a nursing station and suffer through the good intentions of others all the time! =) You can do it!
