Hi everyone, I really like what I've seen here. Because of a dramatic weight gain over 3 years, I hardly leave the house, they say I am argophobic (spelling?) At first I didn't mind, my 3 boys were not as active as they are now. school, sports, band practice,,,etc. my husband works all the time, so i am here all by myself for most of the day, I could really use a buddy, thanks for this wonderful site, promise I won't bore you...lol

Hey Dewy, You're gonna love this site..You can get lots of support and good ideas here. Not to mention make a few good friends..
if you need someone to talk to, I'm online a lot during the day.Congrats on your 24 lb. loss that's awesome! Keep up the good work.

First off congrats on your weight lost, that itself is a great acomplishment, but your goal weight sounds low.... how tall are you? Make sure your goal is to be healthy.... not sticks and bones.

What kind of support are you looking for?

what I have noticed is that this site if full of different ways to help. Me I like having a buddy that I have to answer to .... someone to tell what I have had to eat each day and what kind of activities I have done..... someone (un like my husband!!!) that cares!!!! I find that if you have to admit to someone else that you cheeted and had a candy bar, you are less likely to do it..... i dont know, just my theory.

other gals here make challenges for eachother ( which is a really good idea) you should check them out!
