Hello to all!
Well, I'm here for the same reason the rest of you are here - I need to drop some lbs. I've tried so many different methods. The Adkins (GAG!!) and WW, most recently. I actually lost some weight on WW, then it came back when I quit doing the program. The problem now is this: I've gotten really down on myself. I'm married, I have a 4 year old, and a great guy. He's no help - buys all sorts of yummies I really do not need. He says he likes me as I am - and I'm sure he does - but still, I don't like me as I am, and that's reason enough to try to lose some weight. For about a week, I tried (and of course, failed) fasting, and with every failure, I got more depressed. So I'm stopping that cycle this minute. I ate two small slices of homemade bread with coffee (mmm) for breakfast and refused to feel guilty. I had a salad today for lunch, and I consider this "Day 1" of what will be a long but, hopefully, successful journey to a healthier me. Wish me luck, folks!
