Does medical weight loss really work???
I am on the medical weight loss jumpstart plan and I was just wondering if anyone else here has tried it or is on it? This is my first time losing a mass amount of weight, and I'm really nervous and I don't know if I can do it. I am looking for any kind of buddy or any kind of support. If u have any dieting tips or advice, I would love it if you would share it with me, I need all the help I can get.:?:

Hi Toni,
Hey... you're right around the corner from me. I'm in Troy :-). I am on WW, but both of my parents have been on MWL. They LOVE it! My mom lost 75 lbs. 2 years ago, and my dad has lost 110 lbs. and is still going. The nutrients helped keep them full and they lost weight at a really good pace! I would do it myself, but I'm happy with WW right now. Good luck!!! |
Oh Really, That's awesome that they did that, that gives me a lot of hope. The nutrients haven't been keeping me that full, I am still a little hungry, I hope I just have to get it some time. I have only been on this diet for a few days, do you know how long it was before they saw any results? Good luck to you with you ww, hopefully I will get the results that I hope for on this plan. :)

They both had great results the first week! They were also hungry the first few weeks because of the drastic change in how they used to eat to the MWLC plan. But, eventually their appetites did adjust. I bet yours will, too. The key to their success was that they both followed it to a T. Keep at it and you'll see some great losses!!

How long did it take for them to start seeing results? The nutrients aren't keeping me feel really full, like right now I am so hungry... Not even at night though just in general. I'll have them during the day and I'll still be hungry. I try just drinking water when I get hungry but at night its rough because I end up getting up 300 times to go pee lol.

Thank you for starting this discussion on the importance of medical weight loss. As a physician with over 20 years of experience in Atlanta, I couldn't agree more that medical weight loss service is a vital and effective approach to addressing weight-related issues. I would like to share some insights and perspectives on this topic.
First and foremost, I want to emphasize that medical weight loss is indeed one of the most effective and safe ways to achieve sustainable weight management. It is not about quick fixes or fad diets; instead, it focuses on establishing a healthy lifestyle that encompasses all aspects of an individual's life. This holistic approach considers not only the physical but also the emotional and mental well-being of the patient. Weight problems can have a profound impact on various aspects of a person's life. They can affect health, relationships, income, self-confidence, and self-esteem. I have witnessed these challenges firsthand in my years of practice. Many of these issues are preventable, and that's what motivated me to delve into bariatric medicine and hormone therapies. By addressing the root causes of weight problems, we can work towards improving the overall quality of life for our patients. |
