i have just joined after being recommended this site by a friend. I have decided it is time to lose some weight. I want to lose 40kg, not sure what that is in pounds but alot i should imagine.

Hoope to give and gain some support.

Welcome to the group Kellis. I live up in Canberra, and have been a member of this group for a few weeks now. You will find that everyone is quite lovely.

To calculate kilos to pounds, multiply by 2.2. So you have about 88 pounds there. I'd say to myself that I have 40 kgs to lose but then count the pound loss, more fun that way, pounds move faster...lol.
