Hi Everyone,

My name is Stacey and I am a 34 year old single female from Ontario Canada. I have decided this is my year to get fit and healthy and to do that I would love to make a new friend/support buddy. I have just over 100 pounds that I would like to lose but will start off with mini goals such as just getting into a smaller size......now wouldn't that be a treat!? *LOL* I hope also to be a great support friend also!

Have a read around. There is so much to learn here and lots of supportive folks.
Have you decided what kind of a food or activity plan you're going to use?

Hi Susan,

Thank you for the welcome! I am not really doing a particular diet as per say but trying just for lower fat intake, and having one "cheat day" a week. It has worked for me before.....its just a matter of me sticking to it! I bought an exercise bike which I plan on using as much as possible, I really wanted a treadmill but that cost too much! Blah! *LOL*

I haven't had a chance to yet....my big problem is I am a picky eater, half the time I never like what is in most of the recipies! But of course I am never picky when it comes to junk food or chocolate, go figure! I will check it out though thank you for the suggestion!
What kind of diet plan are you following? Congrats on the weight loss you have had to date! :carrot:

I'm an old fashioned calorie counter. And when I'm being good, I do whatever exercise I feel like, walking mostly. I love weights, but they are also easy to ignore. I just close the door to the room they're in :)

I am the worst walker...........I think it dates back to when I was younger and my fit sister and I would go for walks together......ok she would be a mile ahead but she called it walking together *LOL* So ever since then I have hated walking.....or I go with my mom who is slow like me!
I put my bike in the basement so I wouldn't use it as a hanging rack for my clothes, not that I have done that before.........*ahem* haha

I had my real bike out on Friday but it got snowed on yesterday, so it's in the shed again!
