Yet another "buddy seeker" here

Hello there, I'm new to 3fatchicks.com and am looking for a buddy to start being serious about losing weight January 1st! I am an (almost) 36yo Christian, stay at home, homeschooling mom to 3 kids aged: 13yob, and (almost) 11yob/g twins. I live in Northern California (although we're considering a move to the Spokane, WA area). I am a voracious reader and sing on a praise team and in choir and am in charge of Women's Ministry at my church.

I currently weigh 188lbs at 5'4" and am trying to reach 130 by the end of 2006. I am a regular couch potato now as we speak and I have chronic back pain issues. I am hoping to focus more on exercising than anything else (mostly because I love to eat and am just not willing to go on some weird diet long term).

I spend a great deal of time on my computer and would love to have a buddy interested in accountability and chatting on a very regular basis. I've had other partners in the past, but none that were consistent and so I'm really requesting someone who is interested in touching base on at least an almost daily basis via IM of some kind and who has some simliar other interests and who will be serious about holding me accountable and visa versa.

Here's hoping somebody like this exists out there........in return I pledge to be a consistent buddy to you and to hold you accountable as well and to be your friend when the going gets tough!

I'll be your buddy if you still want one. A little about me, I'm Anna, 37 yrs old, married to Gary, have three children, Boys ages 10 (Matthew), 13 (KJ) and a girl who is 9 (Katie). We are also Christians and are active in our church. I sing in the choir as well as sing solo with Karoke style tapes. I love Southern Gospel music, my favorite Artist is Michael Combs I've seen him in concert once in North Carolina in Oct. and then we are goign to see him again this Friday at a church in COlumbus OHio, so I"ve very excited. I have battled weight most of my adult life, more so after the birth of the kids. I joined weight watchers last year and went from 260 down to 224 before I had to quit going to meetings, but have since gained back up to about 235. I am rejoining weight watchers on Jan. 3rd with my cousin and hope and pray that I can get the rest of my weight off in 2006. I am 5'8 and want to get down to about 165.
