Hi. My name is Lyndsey, and I'm 19. My weight issues lead back to my childhood when my father would request that my mother make not so healthy foods (fried chicken, loads of carbs, late night dinners, loads of fast food), and would become upset if she made us something else. As I got older, I gained more weight because I became less and less active. I'm now about 270 pounds, and I need to loose the weight, I want to become an actress, and I can't think of one popular actress that's over weight, or if they are overweight, they're not as big as me. I really want to be taken seriously, so this is very important to me. My goal is to be about 175 lbs by the end of 2006, and I don't plan to use fad diets (since they don't work on me), but I have learned that I tend to have more energy on a Vegeterian diet, so around the new year, I'm going to basically give up meat (*sobs* no more russos), and start eatting more organic foods.
I would love to have a buddy, because admittedly, I'm crap at staying on track with getting healthy, I always think of it as a diet, and then I suddenly feel the need to just drop it when I make a mistake.
