Default Buddy?

Great! Let's try it! I may be 51 but I am young at heart.
I went back to law school when I was 46 and graduated at 49. I haven't worked yet becasue I ended up having to have surgery and was very sick for a couple years. But now I am feeling better (except this danged fatigue),and I took and passed the bar exam. I have to lose this weight!!

Why don't you email me? Or I can email you

I am just about at 300 pounds. I need to lose 150 pounds. Just 5 years ago I weighed 145 and jogged! Wow that was a lifetime ago.
So I know what it feels like to be in shape and I want to get there again.

Default Me Too!

I will be 53 in January and have lost a little over 25 lbs. so far with Weight Watchers. Still have a loooong way to go but it is coming off! I've drifted a little from some of the "essentials" of what I know works best for me, which is writing down everything I eat! Hopefully becoming more active here will help remind me of the necessity to do that and keep me motivated.

Default Let's DO IT!!

hi Donna! Glad to know I'm not the only 'over 50' in the bunch!!

I just started WW this morning. I am excited, because I think it is something I can do. I know my health is at stake, and I need to lose weight to regain energy so I can work again. I have been very sick, and am now feeling better but still have extreme fatigue. Losing weight will help!!

Are you going to start WW again?

Molly, I'm doing the online version of Weight Watchers. At the time I started back (3 months ago) I did not have access to a car and there weren't any meetings on the bus lines. Now I have a car again but I'm not feeling the need for face-to-face meetings between the various online groups I belong to. I come here for support and use the WW site to record my food and "weigh in." A little of this, a little of that ... whatever works!
