Hi All, I am new here and I would love to have some buddies to help each other along. I am a married woman with 2 daughters (age 4 and 8 years). I am 34 years old and I live in a small town close to Kitchener, Ontario. I am actually almost at my goal weight of 128lbs (i started to watch my eating the middle of August) and I was 171 lbs and I am now 137 (9 pounds to go, but I am finding this the hardest part)! I also do the treadmill to help me (just bought one on the weekend and have only been on it 2 times now, hoping it will help with my last 9 pounds)! I am hoping to meet others so that we can support each other.

I would be happy to be a support buddy for you :) A bit about me...I am 27 years old, married for almost a year now (how time flies...) I graduated college several years ago. Then I was at what I thought was a healthy weight, but a diet of unhealthy convenience foods made my weight begin to increase little by little. Ten months into my marriage, I decided enough was enough and started the South Beach Diet to lose that bit of weight and adopt healthier long-term eating habits. At this point, I have 11 pounds to go, but I have a feeling it's going to take some time and work! It didn't get there overnight, after all...Besides SBD, I am doing walking and Pilates to help me get into better physical shape. Best of luck to you! Keep us posted! |
