Hi Everyone!

What a wonderful place this seems to be!:dizzy: I very much look forward to being a member of this community. I would like to say I awoke one morning and looked into the mirror, to find I had gained a bunch of weight. That sure would fall in line with my, " It should just fall off" theory! But facts are facts , I got to this point one step at a time, which is how it will come off. It is be great to be with others walking the same path.

Can someone explain the buddy system here to me please? Is the buddy via email?

Hi there Razz, I am also new here (I signed up a couple days ago). I have met a couple buddies here...we are planning on checking in with one another daily with any issues, meal diaries, etc. It may be helpful to find someone who is using the same diet as you...but it's not necessary. I am counting calories...if you'd like to buddy up, I'd be happy to have another buddy!

Thanks so much for answering my question. I will be counting calories also, I need to stay within 1200 a day :faint: . I definately have some work to do in squeezing things in there and eating healthier. I found a really neat program for tracking. If you would like I will pm or email you the addy to it. It is a bit time consuming to get it set up (customized), but once you have it done, it is snappy.
