stay-at-home mom looking for buddy

I love this website. I've spent some time this afternoon/evening just looking it over and have come to the conclusion that this is a wonderful place with awesome people/support. I am a 24 year old stay-at-home mom. Though I love being home with my daughter, I find it challenging to lose weight (the fridge isn't that far away!). As the holidays approach I realize that I need to get serious about losing these last few pounds and inches. My daughter is a wonderful inspiration, but being only 3 months old, she doesn't have the words quite yet to push me along. I would love for a little support and encouragement. Thank you so much! :^:

Hey

Hi, I am a stay at home mom to my 15 month old son. I am 24 and I am so ready to get this weight off. Let's all be here for each other, because stefani_ann, you're right, the fridge isn't too far away! Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hi! I'm a 25 year old SAHM, and I'm also taking college classes online. I have a 2 year old son and a 10 month old daughter. My biggest problem is making sure I get enough healthy calories. I'm still breastfeeding a lot, so I'm trying to keep my calories around 1700-1800. Gotta keep that milk supply up. ;) I feel like I'm eating all the time, and it's hard to find the time to eat with a toddler and an infant and taking classes. I'm dropping the pounds pretty easily now that I'm making my self take time for meals. I think I was just getting too few calories before, and my body was hangin on to everything.

Hi Ladies,

I just found this board today. I agree, it seems awesome. :carrot:

I'm Heather, 34, a WAHM of two little girls, 23 months and 4 weeks old. I do a bit of scientific consulting when my girls are sleeping or I have a neighborhood kid over to play with my 23 mo. I gained quite a bit with my first and lost it all but I did it through Weight Watchers, problem is I don't think I can make meetings with such an active 23 mo in tow - so I figured I'd try to find some support like this and see how it goes. :ebike:

Take care ladies. I'll be checking back for this thread. We SAHM need adult interaction and this is where I'll be getting it!

Heather
