Young Woman Looking for Excercise Buddy!

  • Hi all, I'm new! My name is Heather and I'm 16. Currently I'm 200 pounds at 5'8" and I'm looking to lose roughly 60 through exercise-- [Im lazy but I hate Diets, I fail miserably every time.] It's not ALL about being thin, its about being HEALTHY. I'm tired of being humiliated because I'm always the last to finish the mile in gym and I'm tired of being the biggest girl out of all of my friends- I'm already tall AND chubby on top of it!

    I'm a size 16 jeans and looking to get down to maybe a size 8, unless I look *too* thin.

    I am fortunate enough have a wonderful weightroom and track available to me at my school, and I have gym every other day playing tennis for roughly 40 minutes.

    I should also add that I unfortunately suffer from back/hip/knee pain. So floor exercises are probably a no-no.

    That's pretty much all I can think of for now. Any takers?
  • hey hun, we have similar stats/goals. I'm 21 though so a little older then you.....right now i weigh in at 210 (i gained the pas couple weeks!) and and i'm looking to get to 145 or so....depending on my clothes size.
