Housewife needing a buddy to loose a LOT
 

Hi all, I am a 47 year old housewife.
I do not have children and would prefer to buddy with someone who does not want to talk about the kids all the time. No offense meant but that is just the way I want it.
Now, if I have not run everyone off then what I am looking for is someone to provide a LOT of support and I will do the same.
I prefer messenger buddies as it is more personal.
I am 5'2" and weigh 191 lbs. The vast majority of mine comes from quitting smoking. I quit 6 months ago and have been on a huge eating binge. Now I know it is time to get this under control. I am miserable, depressed and feel horrible. I want my life back. I know if I could quit smoking then I can loose this weight but it sure would be easier with buddies.

Although I work with kids and have three, believe me I might not talk about them. I am 44 and 5'. I did weigh 160, but have been on weight watchers for about 5-6 weeks. I am now weighing in between 148- 150. Like you I have the weight problem from quitting smoking. Only now 10 years later, it is because of stress. Instead of smoking I eat. I realize this and am hoping not to stress eat again. Don't know how much support I can provide. I do know I can talk anywhere from 4-7 times a week, basically once a day. I'll have to see how hectic the schedule is.
