I am new to this group and am galde to have found it. Everyone seems so helpful and encouraging. Four weeks ago I started using the WW points system and have managed to lose 21 1/4 pounds. I know that this is just the begining and I know that I have a long haul ahead of me. Four weeks ago I hit rock bottom and went to my doctor to get some help. I was very depressed and on the very of an eating disorder. I would eat something and the more I thought about what I ate the more I'd worry about what it would do to me and then I'd vomit. My doctor put me on "happy pills" and begging me to stop excerising and what ever type of weight loss program I was doing because I was heading down a road of distruction. So I did the hardest thing ever in my life and listened. I have 3 children ages 11, 9 and 4 and I want to be around for them. I discussed with my doctor a weight loss progam offered in my area that I wanted to check out. So I made calls, set up an appointment and we to the consultation and was disappointed to find out it was an all liquid diet that didn't seem hopeful for me. So I contacted my doctor yet again and said I need to do something. So with him I decided to try WW. He wanted me to attend meetings at first but I told him I could do this on my own. And so far I have been. I found various recipes and put the WW points to them and have been doing well. Now I am just needing to make sure if I do have a minor set back, I have somewhere to turn. I like this site and am sure I've found exactly what I need. Am willing to take advice from anyone on recipes, excerise, and all around tips. Thanks for be here for us!
