Hi im new here

Hi my name is Jessica and Im a 20 y/o stay at home mom and full time college student. Ive had problem sheading my pregnancy weight off. I was doing awesome at first, but his postpartum depression where allmy weight came back almost to full term weight. Im glad I foudn this site cause I need a good kick in the butt of support to keep myself on track. Other places I go to have losing weight sections, but with only 5 or 6 people in the section, so it gets boring. Hope to talk with you all soon.

Hey Jessica! I am pretty new to the forum also. I'm 25, my son just turned 4 this past weekend. I was a stay at home mom for 3 1/2 years and it's hard when youre at home all day with not much to do, and food all around! I just started working full time and now have a good grip on what I'm eating during the day since I'm not constantly rummaging through the fridge. You sound like you have a lot going on in your life, with your child and school, but I can think of tons of little things you can do to help you lose the weight. I work in an office, so I have tons of time to surf the web and chat. I absolutely love food, I could eat all day and not think twice, but I am now starting to control my cravings and portions and it's really working for me. If you want a buddy to give some support let me know. I would be glad to help. -caroline

Hi Jessica! Welcome to the forums. I'm fairly new too (a couple weeks) but I really like it so far. There are several of us SAHMs that are trying to stay motivated together. So far we're in a thread on the Buddy group, called "Need a Friend". Come join us! How old is your baby? Mine just turned a year. That makes it easy to exercise, because he's still taking 2 naps a day. But I'm sure that will change soon, and I'll get plenty of exercise chasing him around!

Good luck with your goal.

Cindy
