New and looking for some support!
Hi there, gals! Well, my name is Ann; I'm 28 and 260! Can't believe I got here; just a year ago I was 185. My weight gain was rapid since my eating was, too! I really need to do something and I love visiting this site and reading all of your inspirational stories; I know there are people who have done this before me!
I feel like I keep saying, "Tomorrow, tomorrow, I'll do something about my weight. I know it's getting dangerous and I really do feel like I'm missing out on a lot life has to offer. But I also know that life doesn't stop while you're losing weight so why not start now?! I could really use your support and wisdom and I'm looking forward to giving some of mine to you! I would love to meet someone in the Seattle area for walks/runs/general exercise; it's SOOOOOOOOOOO much easier with a buddy! Okay, so here we go! Good luck to all of you! Ann :smug: |
Hello, Ann, I'm new too
I'm glad to have found this site. I need support, too. I'm not in the Seattle area (I'm pretty much as far away from Seattle as you can get), but maybe I can help give support online.
I know what you mean about saying "Tomorrow I'll do something about it." I've been saying that for years, and that's why I got to be 80 pounds overweight. Before I knew it, 6 months would go by and I'd either stayed the same weight or gained more. Either way, I would be furious with myself thinking, if I'd been eating right and exercising for those 6 months, I'd be so much closer to my goal weight! Finally, about 2 months ago I decided to actually do something about it. Good luck to you! Hopefully we will become two more success stories! Cindy |
Hi Ann
I am also not in Seattle but would be happy to be email buddies. |
